Casino mogul and cable entrepreneur, Don Barden died early this morning of lung cancer. He was the first African American to own a casino and operate a national cable network. He was known among the rich and famous and can be remembered for trying to partner with the late King of Pop to own a theme park resort in Detroit, Michigan.
