At Pope Benedict XVI's annual “State of the World” address on Monday, he denounced gay marriage and stated "same-sex nuptials threaten the future of humanity." In the speech, Reuters reported the 84 year old pope said that gay marriage “undermines the family” and “threatens human dignity and the future of humanity itself."
