Riva Tims states it was a complete shock to hear the news about Zachery Tims' death. Ironically, the way in which she received the news clearly shows there were some real issues in the marriage and on the part of her then husband, Zachery Tims. The news of Zachery Tims' death came from a former girlfriend of the megachurch pastor when Riva Tims was entering the church on the Sunday following his death.
