The perception of President Obama and his concern of backing of benefits for the Black community is that he has not done what he as for other groups. We do not hear in the news what he has put into place to benefit our community as we have heard so publicly what has been fought for for Latinos, the gay community and other 'interest' or 'special' groups. On the contrary, a White House aide concurs that President Obama has been making strides for the African American community.
